About wool felt

The last work is a panda doll I made myself. There was a problem with the material during the production, but because it was found that after the clay dries, even a layer of varnish could not show the furry touch, so I chose wool felt to make the doll. This is my first real contact with wool felt. I just attended a class in high school before, but never practiced it. So I bought a wool felt teaching book to learn the technique. At the beginning of the production, I couldn't poke the desired size very accurately, and even if I was very careful, I still easily poked myself, and I couldn't control the direction of the poking needle very well. But in the process of repeated attempts and improvements, I gradually became more proficient in this technique. During this period, I learned how to make the concave place more rounded, learned how to connect the independent parts together, learned how to poke out the lines of the panda's face to make the side lines of its face clearer and more pronounced. Choosing to make dolls is the first time for me in every aspect. It took me a lot of time to learn production methods and techniques, but I don't regret making this decision, because it makes me master one more technology. . I also believe that this will help me in future projects.
